Description
This wooden object is the handle of an adze. The blade of bronze or of copper, which was fixed to the handle by a leather string, has disappeared. The instrument was used by the carpenter for polishing wood, but also by the sculptor for creating a statue in wood or in limestone. The tool was also a part of the instruments employed during the Ritual of Opening the Mouth.

Dit houten voorwerp is een handvat van een kuipersdissel. Het lemmet in brons of koper, dat vastgemaakt was aan het handvat door een lederen band, is verdwenen. Het instrument werd gebruikt door de timmerman om hout te polijsten, en door de beeldhouwer om een beeld in hout of kalksteen te vervaardigen. Het gebruiksvoorwerp behoorde eveneens tot de instrumenten die gebruikt werden tijdens het Mondopeningsritueel.
Cet objet en bois est un manche d'herminette. La lame en bronze ou en cuivre, qui était fixée au manche par une lanière en cuir, a disparu. L'instrument était utilisé par le charpentier pour polir le bois, ainsi que par le sculpteur pour créer une statue en bois ou en calcaire. L'outil faisait également partie des instruments employés pendant le Rituel de l'Ouverture de la Bouche.
Dieser Holzgegenstand ist ein Dächselgriff. Die aus Bronze oder Kupfer gefertigte Klinge, die mit einer Lederschnur am Griff befestigt war, ist nicht mehr vorhanden. Das Gerät wurde von Tischlern zum Glätten von Holz verwendet und von Bildhauern zur Herstellung von Statuen aus Holz oder Kalkstein. Das Werkzeug gehörte auch zu den beim Mundöffnungsritual verwendeten Instrumenten.
Questo oggetto di legno é un manico di accetta. La lama di bronzo o di rame che era fissata al manico tramite una striscia di cuoio, é andata perduta. Lo strumento era utilizzato dal carpentiere per levigare il legno, come pure dallo scultore per creare una statua dilegno o di calcare. L'utensile faceva anche parte degli strumenti impiegati durante il Rituale dell'Apertura della Bocca.
Este objecto em madeira é um cabo de uma enxó. A lâmina em bronze ou em cobre, que se fixava ao cabo por uma correia de couro, desapareceu. O instrumento era utilizado pelo carpinteiro para alisar a madeira como pelo escultor para criar uma estátua em madeira ou em pedra. O utensílio fazia também parte dos instrumentos usados no Ritual da Abertura da Boca.
Este objeto de madera es un mango de azuela. La hoja, de bronce o cobre, que se fijaba al mango mediante una tira de cuero, ha desaparecido. El instrumento era utilizado por los carpinteros para pulir la madera, y por el escultor para crear estatuas de madera o caliza. La herramienta también formaba parte de los instrumentos utilizados durante el Ritual de la Apertura de la Boca.
