IJzeren sleutel aan een ring die om een vinger past, gevonden in Oxyrhynchus. IJzer en sleutels zijn beide kenmerken van de vernieuwingen in materiële cultuur die door de Romeinen naar Egypte werden gebracht toen het land een provincie van het Romeinse Rijk werd, na 30 voor Christus.

Eisenschlüssel an einem Ring, der über einen Finger gezogen werden konnte, gefunden in Oxyrhynchos. Sowohl Eisen als auch Schlüssel sind Kennzeichen der Neuerungen der materiellen Kultur, welche die Römer nach Ägypten brachten, als das Land nach 30 v. Chr. römische Provinz wurde.
