Description
Roughly made pottery jar of Nile silt, with rounded base, inward slanting profile and short neck with rim, partly missing. The upper part was formed on the wheel, the base finished by hand. It was found in a tomb of the early Middle Kingdom, about 1900 BC, at Beni Hassan in Middle Egypt.

Grof gemaakte aardewerken kruik van Nijlklei met afgeronde basis, naar binnen hellend profiel en korte hals met rand, deels ontbrekend. De bovenkant is op een draaischijf gemaakt, de onderkant met de hand. Het is gevonden in een graf uit het vroege Middenrijk, rond 1900 voor Christus, in Beni Hasan in Midden-Egypte.
Jarre en limon du Nil, façonnée grossièrement, à base arrondie, aux parois inclinées vers l'intérieur, au col court avec lèvre, partiellement endommagé. La partie supérieure a été façonnée au tour, la base a été modelée à la main. Elle provient d'une tombe datée d'environ 1900 avant J.-C., au début du Moyen Empire, découverte à Beni Hassan, en Moyenne Égypte.
Grob gefertigtes Tongefäß aus Nilschlamm mit Rundboden, einwärts geneigtem Profil und kurzem Hals mit unvollständig erhaltem Rand. Der obere Teil wurde auf der Töpferscheibe geformt, der untere von Hand vollendet. Es wurde in einem Grab des frühen Mittleren Reiches, etwa 1900 v. Chr., in Beni Hassan in Mittelägypten gefunden.
Giara, rozzamente modellata, di terracotta, in limo del Nilo, con base rotonda, profilo inclinato verso l'interno e collo corto con l'orlo in parte mancante. La parte superiore è stata formata al tornio, mentre la base è stata rifinita a mano. L'esemplare è stato ritrovato in una tomba dell'inizio del Medio Regno, databile al 1900 a.C. circa, a Beni Hassan nell'Egitto centrale.
