Flint tool of rectangular form, from the Abydos temple area. Petrie dated these tools to the 2nd Dynasty. They may have been used in butchery for temple offerings, as depicted in later reliefs.

Vuurstenen werktuig in rechthoekige vorm, uit het gebied van de tempel in Abydos. Petrie dateerde deze werktuigen in de 2e Dynastie. Ze kunnen alle gebruikt zijn bij het slachten voor tempeloffers, zoals in latere reliëfs is afgebeeld.
Outil en silex de forme rectangulaire, trouvé dans l'enceinte du temple d'Abydos. Petrie a daté ces outils de la IIème Dynastie. Ils peuvent avoir servi comme couteaux de boucherie dans les temples pour la préparation des offrandes cultuelles, comme l'illustrent des reliefs plus récents.
