Description
Flint knife blade, recorded as coming from the vicinity of the Hellenistic and Roman town of Bacchias in the northern Faiyum. Although iron and other metal tools had long been common by this date, stone tools and weapons continued to be made. However, without precise excavation records, it is not possible to ascribe this to a particular date or people with confidence.
