Description
Blue faience scarab with worn head, notches at the shoulders, and on the underside an indistinct motif of a crocodile over a captive. The scarab would have been worn as a talisman, and the crocodile and enemy figure represent forces to be appeased or overcome in life.

Blauwe faience scarabee met verweerde kop, groefjes op de schouders en op de onderkant een onduidelijk motief van een krokodil boven een gevangene. De scarabee kan als talisman gedragen zijn, en de krokodil en vijandfiguur stellen krachten voor die in het leven gesust of overwonnen moeten worden.
Scarabée en faïence bleue présentant une tête usée et des entailles aux épaules. Sur la face inférieure, figure un motif peu distinct: un crocodile au-dessus d'un prisonnier. Le scarabée a dû être porté comme talisman, le crocodile et l'ennemi représentant les forces à apaiser ou à vaincre durant la vie.
Blauer Fayenceskarabäus mit abgenutztem Kopf, Kerben an der Schulter und dem undeutlichen Motiv eines Krokodils über einem Gefangenen auf der Unterseite. Der Skarabäus wurde als Talisman getragen, und das Krokodil und die Gestalt des Feindes repräsentieren Mächte, die im Leben zu besänftigen oder zu besiegen sind.

Lo scarabeo sarebbe stato indossato come talismano ed il coccodrillo ed il prigioniero rappresentano delle forze che durante la vita vengono soddisfatte o sopraffatte.
Escaravelho em faiança azul com cabeça gasta, entalhes nos ombros e na parte inferior um motivo pouco distinto de um crocodilo sobre um cativo. O escaravelho era usado como talismã e o crocodilo e figura do inimigo representam as forças a ser apaziguadas.
Escarabeo de fayenza azul, con la cabeza desgastada, con muescas sobre la espalda y en la parte inferior un motivo poco definido de un cocodrilo sobre un prisionero. El escarabeo pudo desgastarse al ser utilizado como talismán, siendo el cocodrilo y el enemigo figuras que representan fuerzas que deben ser apaciguadas y vencidas en vida.
