Description
This box, used for clothes, is very roughly made. The poor quality wood used in its construction has been concealed by a sizeable quantity of filler. The framework is of a dark-grained timber that was left unpainted, while the panels are finished with red paint. The handles are painted black and are engraved with cartouches of the king. These cartouches are filled with yellow pigment.

Utilisé pour conserver des vêtements, ce coffre fut grossièrement sculpté. De plus, la piètre qualité du bois qui le compose, fut dissimulée sous une grande quantité de bouche-pores. Le cadre fut réalisé avec du bois de fil foncé non peint tandis que les panneaux sont de couleur rouge. Les poignées sont noires et gravées des cartouches du roi. Ces derniers sont remplis d'un pigment jaune.
كان هذا الصندوق يستخدم لحفظ الملابس. وهو غير جيد الصنع. كما حاول الفنان أن يدارى رداءة خامة الخشب المستخدم فى صناعته عن طريق وضع كميات ملحوظة من الحواشى. والإطار عبارة عن خشب داكن ترك بدون تلوين، فى حيت لونت اللوحات نفسها بالأحمر. أما المقابض فقد لونت بالأسود، كما نقش عليها خراطيش الملك والتى ملئت بلون أصفر.
