Description
Steatite scarab with stylised back, inscribed on the underside with two facing personifications of the Nile flood (Hapy), either side of a cartouche containing the throne-name of king Tuthmosis III (Menkheperra). Menkheperra scarabs were popular from the time of that king's reign in the late 15th century BC down to the Late Period, eight centuries later.

Scarabee van steatiet met gestileerde rug en op de onderzijde twee personificaties van de Nijloverstroming (Hapi) tegenover elkaar, aan beide zijden van een cartouche met daarin de troonnaam van koning Thoetmosis III (Men-cheper-re). Scarabeeën van Men-cheper-re waren populair vanaf diens regering in de late 15e eeuw voor Christus tot aan de Late Periode, acht eeuwen nadien.
Scarabée en stéatite au dos stylisé. La face inférieure comporte deux personnifications de la crue du Nil (Hâpi), chacune à côté d'un cartouche contenant le nom de trône du roi Thoutmosis III (Menkhéperrê). Des scarabées 'Menkhéperrê' furent très populaires depuis le règne du roi, à la fin du 15ème siècle avant J.-C., jusqu'à la Basse Époque, huit siècles plus tard.
Ein Skarabäus aus Steatit mit stilisiertem Rücken, dessen Unterseite mit zwei sich gegenüberstehenden Personifikationen der Nil-Überschwemmung (Hapi) zu beiden Seiten einer Kartusche mit dem Thronnamen des Königs Thutmosis III. (Mencheperre) beschriftet ist. Mencheperre-Skarabäen waren von der Regierungszeit dieses Königs im späten 15. Jahrhundert. v.Chr. an bis zur Spätzeit, acht Jahrhunderte später, verbreitet.
Scarabeo in steatite con il dorso stilizzato, iscritto sulla parte inferiore con due personificazioni dell'inondazione del Nilo (Hapi), ciascuna su un lato del cartiglio che conteneva il <!-->nome di trono del re Tuthmosi III (Menkhperra). Scarabei di Menkheperra divennero popolari a partire dal tempo del regno del sovrano nel tardo XV secolo a.C. fino ad Epoca Tarda, otto secoli dopo.
Escaravelho em esteatite com parte traseira estilizada e inscrição na base inferior de duas personificações, de frente para nós, da cheia do Nilo (Hapi). Entre as duas personificaçoes encontra-se cartela contendo o <!-->nome de trono do faraó Tutmés III (Menkheperra). Escaravelhos de Menkheperra eram populares desde o reinado deste faraó, em finais da XV dinastia, até à Época Baixa, oito séculos mais tarde.
Escarabeo de esteatita con la espalda estilizada que lleva en la parte inferior dos personificaciones enfrentadas de la crecida del Nilo (Hapy) a ambos lados de un cartucho con el nombre de coronación del rey Thutmosis III (Men-jeper-re). Los escarabeos de Men-jeper-re fueron populares desde el reinado de ese faraón, a finales del siglo XV a. C., hasta la Baja Época, ocho siglos después.
