Description
This low-relief shows Horhotep, Priest of Buto, seated on the left on a chair that has lion's paws. He is wearing a short wig and a short kilt and is holding a long rod in his left hand; his right hand rests on his knee. His name and titles are written from right to left in a vertical column in front of him. Horhotep is receiving offerings from eight men and women, who have brought their children. They are presenting him with calves, birds, geese, jars, baskets of fruit, various types of plants, and lotus.

Ce bas-relief montre Horhotep, prêtre de Bouto, assis sur la gauche, sur une chaise pourvue de pattes de lions. Coiffé d'une perruque courte, il porte un pagne et tient un long bâton dans sa main gauche; sa main droite repose sur son genou. Son nom et ses titres sont écrits de droite à gauche dans une colonne verticale à laquelle il fait face. Horhotep reçoit des offrandes de huit hommes et femmes qui ont amené leurs enfants. Ces personnes se présentent devant lui avec des veaux, des oiseaux, des oies, des jarres, des fleurs de lotus, des paniers de fruits et plusieurs types de plantes.
نقش جداري غائر لحور حوتب، كاهن بوتو، يصوره جالسا إلى اليسار على كرسي قوائمه زخرفت بمخالب أسد. وهو يرتدي شعرا مستعارا قصيرا ونقبة قصيرة، ويمسك بعصا طويلة في يده اليسرى؛ بينما يضع يده اليمنى على ركبته. وقد كتب اسمه مع ألقابه أمامه، من اليمين إلى اليسار؛ في عمود رأسي. ويشاهد حور حوتب وهو يتلقى القرابين من ثمانية رجال ونساء أحضروا أطفالهم معهم. وهم يقدمون إليه عجولا وطيورا وإوزا وقدورا وسلال فاكهة وأنواعا مختلفة من النباتات وزهور اللوتس.
