Description
This diorite block statue shows Sobek-nakht, a governor from the 19th Dynasty, with his hands crossed on his knees. He has a small beard and is wearing a tight garment that leaves his hands and feet visible. His ears are partially visible under the curly locks of hair that cover his head. Sobek-nakht holds a piece of cloth in his right hand. A hieroglyphic text is engraved on the statue, the back of which is supported by a small pillar.

Cette statue taillée dans un bloc de diorite représente Sobek-nakht, gouverneur durant la 19ième dynastie, avec les mains croisées sur ses genoux. Il a une petite barbe et porte un vêtement serré qui laisse apparaître ses mains et ses pieds. Ses oreilles sont partiellement visibles sous les mèches frisées de cheveux qui recouvrent sa tête. Sobek-nakht tient un morceau de tissu dans sa main droite. Un texte hiéroglyphique est gravé sur la statue dont l'arrière est soutenu par un petit pilier.
يصور التمثال الكتلة من الديوريت سوبك-نخت حاكم من الاسرة التاسعة عشر، فنراه وقد تقاطعت يداه فوق ركبتيه. وللتمثال لحية صغيرة، وهو يلبس رداءاً حابكاً يكشف يديه وقدميه، ويغطى رأسه شعر مستعار ذو خصلات مموجة، يرى من تحته جزء من الأذنين. ويمسك سوبك-نخت فى يده اليمنى قطعة قماش. ويدعم التمثال من الخلف عمود، كما نقشت عليه كتابات هيروغليفية.
