Description
The upper part of this splendid alabaster vase is decorated with cornices and plants. It is set on a pedestal in a form of a stool. The body of the vase is adorned with three cartouches bearing the name of King Tutankhamun and that of his consort, Queen Ankhesenamun. The left side bears the figure of a uraeus, or royal cobra, wearing the Red Crown and holding the Was and Shen scepters.

La partie supérieure de ce splendide vase d'albâtre est décorée de corniches et de plantes. De plus, ce vase repose sur un piédestal en forme de tabouret. Par ailleurs, son corps est orné de trois cartouches portant le nom du roi Toutânkhamon et de son épouse, la reine Ânkhesenamon. Quant à son côté gauche, il comporte un uraeus, ou cobra royal, coiffé de la couronne rouge et tenant les sceptres Was et Shen.
الجزء العلوي من هذا الإناء المرمرى الرائع مزخرف بأفاريز وأشكال نباتية. ويستقر الاناء على قاعدة في شكل مقعد، وبدنه محلى بثلاثة خراطيش تحمل اسمي توت عنخ آمون وزوجته عنخس إن آمون. ويحمل الجانب الأيسر من الإناء شكل صل مقدس، أو حية الكوبرا؛ التى ترتدي التاج الأحمر وتمسك بصولجاني الرخاء والقوة الأبدية.
