The Global Egyptian Museum

This portrait painted on wood, shows a young girl wearing a golden garland in the form of a branch that encircles her head. A gold pendant hangs from a chain round her neck.

Her face has been very precisely painted with a childlike mouth and straight nose. Over her large brown eyes the eyebrows are curved. Her rather frizzy hair is combed back off her face. 

As usual with the portraits from this period, her eyes have a sad expression.

Ce portrait d'une jeune fille peint sur du bois. Sa tête est ornée d'un diadème en or en forme de guirlande. Un pendentif en or suspendu à une chaîne entoure son cou.

Son visage est peint avec beaucoup de précision, sa bouche est innocente et son nez droit. Au dessus de ses grands yeux marron, ses sourcils sont recourbés. Ses cheveux crépus sont coiffés à l'arrière. 

Comme à l'accoutumée dans les portraits ce cette période, ses yeux expriment de la tristesse.

وجه مصور على الخشب يظهر فتاة شابة ترتدي إكليل مذهب من غصن النبات يلتف حول رأسها. يوجد حول رقبتها قلادة بها دلاية من الذهب. 

صورت ملامح الوجه باتقان، حيث يظهر الفم طفولي والأنف مستقيم والعينان بنيتان واسعتان والحاجبان مقوسان، وهي ذات شعر مجعد مسترسل للخلف. 

وكما هو متبع في كل الصور المرسومة خلال تلك الفترة، فإن العينين الواسعتين الزائغتين تظهر فيهما تعبيرت حزينة.
