Description
Osiris is represented sitting, his feet resting on a rectangular base. His body is enveloped in a tightly fitting mummy gown leaving exposed only his hands holding a crook, a flail and an ankh sign; he wears an atef-crown with ram's horns and uraeus, a pleated artificial beard and a broad collar. The eyes are inlaid. On the back of the statuette there is a relief depiction of a sky-goddess Nekhbet as a vulture with her wings outstretched, holding ostrich feathers in her talons.
