The Global Egyptian Museum

Dit relièffragment is afkomstig van de opgravingen van de Egypt Exploration Fund in Abydos. Links ziet men een deel van een afbeelding van de god Osiris, met de witte kroon van Opper-Egypte en een kunstbaard. Achter hem bevindt zich een tekstkolom het hiërogliefenschrift. Het fragment dateert uit de 18e dynastie en bevat nog verschillende kleursporen.

Ce fragment de relief provient des fouilles de l'Egypt Exploration Fund à Abydos. A gauche, on distingue une partie de l'image du dieu Osiris coiffé de la couronne blanche de Haute Égypte et portant une barbe postiche. Derrière lui se trouve une colonne de texte en écriture hiéroglyphique. Le fragment, qui date de la XVIIIème Dynastie, montre plusieurs traces de couleurs.

Dieses Relieffragment stammt aus den Grabungen des Egypt Exploration Fund in Abydos. Links ist ein Teil einer Darstellung des Gottes Osiris mit der Weißen Krone Oberägyptens und Götterbart zu sehen. Hinter ihm befindet sich eine Textkolumne in Hieroglyphenschrift. Das Fragment, das in die 18. Dynastie datiert, weist mehrere Farbspuren auf.

Questo frammento di rilievo proviene dagli scavi dell'Egypt Exploration Fund ad Abydos. A sinistra, si distingue una parte dell'immagine del dio Osiride con la corona bianca dell'Alto Egitto e portante una barba posticcia. Dietro di lui si trova una colonna di testo in scrittura geroglifica. Il frammento, che data alla XVIII dinastia, mostra numerose tracce di colore.

Este fragmento de relevo provém das escavaçöes do Egypt Exploration Fund em Abidos. A esquerda nota-se parte de uma imagem do deus Osíris com a coroa branca do Alto Egipto e com uma pêra postiça. Atrás dele está uma coluna de texto em escrita hieroglífica. O fragmento, que data da XVIII dinastia, mostra ainda alguns vestígios de policromia.

Este fragmento proviene de las excavaciones del Egypt Exploration Fund en Abydos. A la izquierda se aprecia parte de una imagen del dios Osiris tocado con la corona blanca del Alto Egipto y con la barba postiza. Detrás de él hay una columna de texto jeroglífico. El fragmento, que data de la Dinastía XVIII, conserva numerosos restos de color.

This fragment of relief comes from the excavations of the Egypt Exploration Fund at Abydos. On the left, one notices  part of the image of the god Osiris dressed in the white crown of Upper Egypt and wearing a false beard. Behind him is found a column of text in hieroglyphic writing. The fragment, which dates from the 18th Dynasty, shows several traces of colour.
